Oh me oh my!
I have just ordered the last skein of "almost" Sock Hop yarn from Teyani!
OK so the spin isn't quite as tight as they would normally do... but as long as I choose my pattern with care, there will still be Sock Hop-py happiness coming my way!
Pink Cadillac colourway - interesting! I am not usually a pink girl... but I know someone who IS, and Christmas is coming!
What is going on? First STR, now Sock Hop?!
And as if this was not exciting enough, I have just heard that we are going to "foster" approx 500 sheep for the winter!?! Our neighbour has run out of grass, and we couldn't afford to have the hay cut this year, so we are offering "bed and breakfast" to his flocks until January - tee hee hee!
P.S. I found the 2-inch-high knitted sheep on the web at ElectricScotland... but is not credited. I would love to know who knit her so I could ask for the pattern!

Cute sheep!!!!1
Oooo! I used to knit sheep just like that (except with black ears and little black hooves) when I was 12 or so from a Jean Greenhowe pattern but I couldn't tell you which book it was from. I just remember it being a hardback with patterns for nursery rhyme based characters (i.e. Little Bo Peep sheep and a spider or two).
