Boden, Burda, or Vogue?

Like so many others, I am a fan of Boden.
But my income does not match my aspirations.
So, having ordered the gorgeous flippy skirt in teal, I was rather sad to find it is a dull grey instead of the striking rich green I expected. So back it goes. And £69 saved.
But now I am obsessed by flippiness.
So I have my eyes on Vogue 7937. Or the brit skirt in the current Burda magazine. Which will it be?

Socks that Rock on their way!

So having spent not too many £'s at Ebay, I came across the Lucy colourway of Socks that Rock, and regret that I had to order a skein direct from Blue Moon Fibre Arts in the States. But when you see it you will understand!

And the cost was less than it would have been to order a skein of something more pedestrian from a UK yarnstore, given the current exchange rates versus the Post Office's new rates!

Ebay treats

This has been a bad week for the bank account.
First there was the Regia Bamboo sock wool in Papillon, which just had to be tried. Possibly for Friday Harbour from "Knitting on the Road"? Maybe for my mother's Christmas?

And then there was the Debbie Bliss Maya on special special discount at Ebay as it is discontinued. And in a colour I had not seen before! This for my second "So-Called Scarf" - for me or a friend, if I can bear to part with it!
