Cashmere knee-highs

That got your attention!

But these are newborn knee-highs, so the second one only took me an evening's light knitting. Ah, if only knee-highs to fit me could be so quick!

Specs: Hipknits cashmere sock in Buttermilk on size 2.5mm dpns, 36 stitches cast on. Probably less than 20g-worth of yarn used. The pattern was one I spotted over at Saartje knits, where she linked to Lies and her Westport Waves newborn sock pattern. I mostly followed the pattern as written but knitted the leg two repeats longer and did a plain heel instead of a textured one - mainly because I misread the pattern.

Very soft, very cute. A bit of a "neither here nor there" colour, but it's for a baby and the aim is to keep her feet warm, after all.

Back to the sea wool!
