Linen and Cotton

I had a request for the title of the book where I found the pattern for my blue linen top.

I am not sure of the title, as it is only written in Japanese. I bought it from an ebay seller who is no longer operating. She called it "Linen and Cotton Volume 1". If you want a copy, I found it on Amazon Japan here.
It is ISBN 4 579 11053 6.
There are lots of ideas for using tea-towels to make clothes, bags and other household items.
There are skirts, trousers, tunics, tops and dresses. All made from linen / cotton with a bit of a Scandinavian vibe. I especially like the longer length kaftan with a buttoned shoulder - I know just the button for this job!
The camisole in the picture uses elastic in the bobbin to "smock" it below the bust.
And I really like the "dress over jeans" look. Especially layered up like this one. You probably can't see it, but there is a neat little blue cross-stitch embroidery on the dress - they also show this ona patchwork bag - very nice!

Thanks for dropping by my blog, and for the pattern link. I imagine/hope that this pattern was easy enough to follow without Japanese.....?
