First Love is still in hospital.
Pains in his chest/lungs now, so they are doing more x-rays and more radiotherapy. At this rate he will be having his chemo in the hospital on Friday, instead of at home... and actually that is a really good thing after last weekend's debacle.
So I have been home alone (with dog and cat). Last night I finished sewing a cream linen kaftan-ish number from a Japanese pattern. Pictures will follow! I also took the dog out to the trampoline, had a sneaky unsupervised bounce, and then lay down and watched the clouds for a while - bliss!
And I visited the Yarn Yard sale (oops!) and snapped up a skein of sock yarn for a bargain price - woo hoo! This is entirely Hanne's fault again - tsk! (Thank you!)
And I have lost count of the number of times I have almost treated myself to a pre-order of Annie Modesitt's new book Romantic Hand Knits (hyperlink function missing on Blogger - but it's at Amazon). Lovely long lacey stockings and long gloves and handwarmers and a corset top and a wrap cardigan and a bum-hugging skirt - oh yeah, honey, this is a book of sexy knitting patterns!

Hey~
Still praying (everyday) for you and your First Love. Good luck with the chemo!
Buy the book and knit something sexy for yourself.
Take care, have some knitting time,
India
Oh, I'm fairly blameless since you were the one who originally linked to Woolgirl. My Visa shivers in fear every time that name is mentioned.
