Pulling up my socks

This will not do.

I have decided it is time to pick myself up and get motivated. I realised I must be depressed when I had my annual appraisal at work and all I could do was smile a glassy smile at my supervisor and say "Sorry, I am just doing my job right now", because all my get up and go has got up and gone.

Enough!

So tomorrow I am working at home to get some paperwork cleared, and then I will be knitting and sewing and cleaning and tidying so that I can greet the weekend with a smile.

I will finish knitting the first Clessidra sock (pictured above a few weeks ago - it has grown a little since then).

I will finish sewing my flippy skirt.

I might have a little online shopping expedition.

I will definitely have a bounce on the trampoline. I defy anyone not to smile while trampolining!

And thanks to everyone who has sent good wishes - I will use all that positive energy this weekend, I promise!
