So - where to start? We had a lovely couple of days in Beauly. We rented a cottage overlooking a golf course, and although FL wasn't fit enough to play, he DID knock a couple of balls into the practice nets without upsetting his back. We walked in the woods and picked a handful of brambles. We reminisced about the last time we were in Beauly (err... 26 years ago) and we talked about the future as well as the past.
He gave me a beautiful silver locket. I opened it, and he had had it engraved inside with the name of the baby we lost. And we shed a few tears.
And we decided to get married.
