Sicktober

I am off sick with a stinking cold.
First Love is on antibiotics and had to be taken to hospital last night because he didn't seem to be responding. We spent two hours in the Day Room trying to avoid infecting other immune-deficient patients, only to be joined by a boy with leukaemia and his family who didnt want to sit on the ward - brilliant! Blood tests revealed that FL just needs to be patient - he has white blood cells in there after all! But he is having to pee every half hour and it is "excruciating" he tells me.
Oh - and my son is upstairs in bed with a stomach upset!
The only fit one among us is my daughter who has gone off to school whistling!

BUT - I will finish the chevron scarf any minute now; I won a kilo of shetland wool at ebay for £8 (for my pine cone jumper plan); and today I am going to start my Woolgirl sock club socks - woo hoo!
