And the bride wore...

A velvet coat from The Dark Angel. It is a deep dark mysterious colour that is neither blue nor purple nor black. It has jet buttons and satin corset-style ribbon lacing up the back. The sleeves are flared with a split cuff. The most extravagant gorgeous garment I have ever owned!

A cream cotton lace "lavaliere" scarf from Redoute to fill the front - my Girl Pirate touch!

Over this, the beautiful stole my mother knitted - the velvet held it in place without any pins.

Black shoe-boots from Office .

Black stockings which lace up the back with ribbons - oooh!

A navy satin bag with black net overlay and sequins - from Ebay for £1.99!

My silver locket from First Love.

And my beautiful wedding ring from Corinne Hamak.

And .... my "borrowed" item: nail polish from my daughter. I grabbed the bottle from her dark room in a rush. I thought it was dark blue. It was black. So slightly more Goth than planned!

Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday!
