Health:
FL is doing fine. He had a sudden burst of enthusiasm when we were told the Velcade is working, (no doubt aided and abetted by the Dexamethasone) and called a locksmith - we now have a front door that shuts - woo hoo!
He is still coughing and he will have to report that today when he goes for his Velcade and Zometa infusion. Another course of antibiotics?
Thank you very much for all your positive comments! We still can't quite believe that we might be able to look forward to things again. There had been a real sense of doom around here. FL took out a funeral payment plan- that's the only sort of forward-planning he felt able to do. Now? Well, maybe we can plan a break at Easter when the kids are away. Skye again?
My swine flu jab left me with a gammy arm for a few days, but my cold has almost gone and I feel like the mental fog is lifting.
Knitting:
I have reached the crown of Kate's tam and have fed back my comments on the pattern so that she can get it finalised. Unless I do something stupid, I should have a Finished Object by the weekend.
I don't know if you have noticed, but it appears to be ssssh December!
I have still to knit something for my daughter and something for FL. I suspect I will be working on my daughter's gift at Christmas, since she is going to her dad's for a week. So my next project is something for FL. Maybe a scarf? Or another hat?

What a lovely, positive post, on such a miserable day!
Having keeping tabs on health posts but not commenting - really pleased to read that things are going well.
*hugs*
