One row: two hours
Two hours: too long
One row: too tight
Two words: duplicate stitch
rip rip rip rip rip

reminds me of the poem I made up when I was visiting the dentist on a near weekly basis for over a year

bite together tap tap tap
bite together tap tap tap
open, close and slide to the right
bite together tap tap tap

you had to be there...........

I think duplicate stitch is just the ticket. I like your 'pome' too - oh! the word verification is 'marre' as in the French expression for being completely fed up ("j'en ai marre")!
P.S. Poor Lizzi, the dentist every week for a year!

Just discovered your blog, love it to bits -the poem says it all. I've rediscovered knitting thanks to the inspiring ideas and projects I've found here. Thank you! Pauline
