The First Snow of Summer

We woke to about two inches of snow.

But by mid morning it was already dropping from the trees.
That shimmering to the left of this picture is the start of the thaw, as a steady shower of melting snow fell to the forest floor.


FL made it about 100 yards up this track before turning back. 


Knitting time now!

DITTO on that second pic. That is a wonderful shot of "the man" and his dog. Beautifully framed by nature. I'd have that one enlarged and displayed, for sure. Happy Easter!
