Mind The Gap

It's no use.
I have no energy to blog this week.
That's what happens when you take a single day off work in the middle of Committee Season!
I'll be back at the weekend with a pile of finished knits and maybe some sewing.
Meanwhile... enjoy some yarn pron ;)
This is a skein of Mind The Gap sock yarn from Trailing Clouds, a UK-based Etsy seller.
It knits up in regular 5-row stripes in colours taken from the London Underground map!
How. Cool. Is. That?!
And it is mine, all mine - mwaahahahaha!

isn't it amazing stuff! I got some for my birthday (read: asked my sister, who was out of ideas, for it and then badgered her until she'd bought it), my very next socks! I'm hoping the dyer will branch out into other stripy combos, I fancy rainbow socks.

Hope you manage to get a rest soon, look after yourself

Beautiful sock yarn! BFL is nice to work with too.

Such beautiful wool! I loved reading your answers in the castaway game Roo :) and your choices are so very "you" in an indefinably but absolutely cool way.

Oh my goodness, this yarn is AWESOME! I love it! I never knew I needed a pair of tube line coloured socks in my life, but now I think I definately do. So cool. So geeky knitting!

I loved it from the picture, but finding out the colours are from the Tube map makes me love it all the more. Brilliant.

Love it, although I'm so glad not to have to spend hours staring at Tube maps any more! Will drop hints - less fattening than chocs for Valentines Day, and longer-lasting than roses ....

What a great idea. I must investigate this yarn... Hope you are less busy soon :-)

That yarn is so cool, nearly enough to persuade me to become a sock knitter...

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and say I love that yarn. I wouldn't ever get round to knitting it, but I could just stroke it occasionally, couldn't I?

Hope you are feeling better by the time the weekend arrives. x

Fantastic! I don't have the tube here but bright colours are bright colours. Hope you get your energy back!
